Love this old fashioned candy store! Great place to take the kids, (Big, and Small) for a large variety of treats!

Great place! Staff are helpful and patient, you're allowed to sample two taffies, and there's loads of candy. Only problem is that its usually packed, which isnt helpful since half the store's room is filled with barrels of candy. Great for the whole family, but don't bring your infants.

So on the street someone handed me a piece of paper to try a free sample. We all went inside and were blown away by the rows and rows of candy. The smell of sugar just washes over your senses. The man with long hair welcomed us in with a joke and a smile. We were sampling so many things the kids will have to brush extra tonight. The owner even offered me a chocolate covered Cricket. It was so good! Would come back again for sure.

Too much candy. When I'm in there I don't want anything. Crazy ha.

This shop is a "must stop" for our family every time we're in Old Town. Full of candy by the basketful and the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Plus, you're welcome to grab a couple of free samples. What's not to love?!

Great selection of candy, but very expensive. I walked out with a bag of $30 worth of candy. It's definitely not going to be a frequent stop for me, but a once in a while treat. The employees were nice and helpful, even though the place was packed.

This place is fantastic! You can eat so much candy here for FREE it's unbelievable. Specially awesome is the fact that all of the taffy can be eaten for free! As long as you eat it in the store and don't take it with our without buying it. The selection is incredibly large, the name is truly fitting; candy heaven! Even my dad who is diabetic was able to eat suger free taffy which he said tasted pretty good. Highly recommend this place if you are in Old Sacramento.

Makes me feel like a kid again being in this candy store. The employees are very kind and even offer a few free samples to help you decide what to get. The variety of candy there is absolutely stunning!

Awesome place!!! Even if you don't like candy it is still a fun shop to visit! It is amazing how much new and old time candy they have! They aslo have free samples on certain candies of your choice! Just grab a basket, fill it up and weigh it on your way out!

Fun place with a huge variety my children love it.

This candy store is AWESOME! if you like hard candy, sour patch, salt water taffy and more! It is beautifully organized and so colorful! I came in here and didn’t know where to start. It’s as if I was a kid again. Some of the candies in here are stuff from like when I was younger!!! Staff: they were helpful and friendly. One guy saw I had a lot of stuff in my hands and he handed me a little basket. The girl at the cash register was telling us about some of the candies in the store and she had us try chocolate covered crickets! Ewww!!! But according to my nephew it tasted like KitKat and had a crunch like it Hahahaha! See video! They were open late on a Saturday night. Forgive me if I can tell you the time they close. But, I know I got out of a show that ended at 10pm so I know there were open late! Awesome candy store!!!

Best candy and sweets store in town. Will never go anywhere else for our sweet tooth needs. The owners are also very friendly and accommodating. Will return frequently and a great location.

Awesome variety of candies. As opposed to having hundreds of flavors of saltwater candy, this place seems to have hundreds of different types of candy, including some old fashioned candies. A fun little place to visit.

This store has the absolute largest candy selection I have ever seen in my life. It's an amazing selection of sweets of all kinds. Gummies, chocolate truffles, hard candies, candy bars, bubble gum, and literally every type of sweet you can imagine. Their selection of saltwater taffy alone is worth the visit! There's an impressive selection and you'll definitely feel like you're as close as you can get to Willy Wonka's factory. They also allow a selection of free samples! Always a great place to visit when you're in Old Town Sacramento.

My family and I LOVED this place! They have suuuch a huge variety of candy and the cool part was when I found candy from my childhood! It was so great!

I feel like the old candy heaven was best.

We have been visiting the store often on for 20 years. Always fun. But the last time I visited the majority of the taffy and hard candy I brought home was stale. Some of the taffy was actually crunchy. None was soft. Some of the hard candy was was a bit soft. Very disappointed. I’ve never experienced this before so we will go back and try again, but I hope they will get rid of the old stock rather than moving it to the top of the barrel. Also, people need to quit being jerks and stealing from them. I saw way too many people sampling from way too many bins when they are only supposed to try one or two.

So much candy! This is always my kids first stop when we get to old town. The clowns are super creepy, the staff is helpful (if a little odd - in a fun way), and there are free samples of selected varieties. This place has all of the candy varieties you just dont see anywhere else, a fridge of unusual sodas, a counter of good chocolates, and so many barrels of gummies, taffy, gum, and hard candies.

Cute little place. A lot of gummy stuff, and taffy. Over priced, but, it's a fun place to stop and get a few pieces. We got 3 chocolates from the candy case, and a little bag of gummies. 15 bucks. There was a girl walking atound town to give out a free sample coupon. She was super nice, all smiles, and having fun. When you go to claim the sample, they don't want the paper. lolWhen you go in, it's a bit different. The girl on the register was all business, get your sh.... and get out type. A guy on the stairs yelling you get a free candy, and you get a free candy. Glad we stopped in.

A nice candy store visit in Old Town Sacramento. They allow you 2 free samples of taffy or anything with a blue card. Maybe a little bit busy with around 10-15 people when I was there. The staff was kind and friendly. Many different options of candy from freshly baked chocolate to hard candies to soft candies even to name brand candies. Overall a nice environment and atmosphere, that anyone would enjoy.

The staff is awesome and so sweet. My daughter picked out a lollipop and the cashier noticed it was cracked under the wrapper, so he gave us a different one and gave my daughter a candy necklace! They're also great with letting you sample some of the candies!

Cute little shop in old sac area. It was a bit chintzy for my likes in a candy store though. While it was cool to see some of these, especially the older classic staples it was simply not cool enough for me to spend the $$ it was priced out at.Store was nice and clean, easy to navigate if not a bit overwhelming with all the options available. Everything was clearly labeled, just a bit tightly packed.

My husband loves candy, so yes! It was the candy Heaven for him, all kinds of candy's, gums and more

Unreal. My fiancé and I came here since he wanted to show me old Sac since I'll be moving to the States and... I was absolutely horrified by the service that we got. The person behind the counter was snarky and rude and lied and said that his card was declined and then demanded that we have to pay cash. They were joking but it wasn't funny. It was extremely rude and disrespectful and I can assure you we will never be back.

Super cool place, probably the only place I've ever been that lets you sample some of the bulk candies. I'm fairly sure they have almost every candy imaginable. Had to go back twice just to process and select some candies. It's a candy overload and it's awesome!!!

Rules: 2 samples ONLY!! I paid for mine, but it's cool. Taffy Flavors are LEGIT!! Maple Bacon is accurate! Butter Popcorn is accurate! Chicken and Waffles, again ACCURATE! Enjoy...but don't break the rules!!!!

The Owner is Mad CrAzY funny and will definitely entertain you!!💕. As a business owner myself... the store owner always inspires me on how customer service should be done. Keeps his customers laughing, offers free crazy samples like chocolate covered crickets or plays jokes on you offering blue super sour bubble gum that leaves your tongue completely blue. I take my own children in every time we are in Sacramento ... and I also do fields trips there with my childcare center all the way from Stockton. This place is the next best place to Willy Wonka’s. I love it so much I had to buy a shirt and have him autograph it. No doubt do8 think it’ll be worth lots of money one day.. unfortunately I’m gonna wear it out.. 😂🤣😅. This place is a definitely MUST GO!!

Love this place! You get two free samples of most candies in their store. They have everything like old style candy, chocolate covered crickets, old school gum, sour straws, etc. Probably one of my favorite candy shops thus far!

We love stopping here every time we go to Sacramento! They allow you to sample several varieties of candy before your purchase. And there are barrels upon barrels of old fashioned as well as modern candies, plus a whole side room section of probably a hundred or more flavors of salt-water taffies. Sometimes they'll do a challenge and ask volunteers to try something unusual such as a candied cricket or an extra hot candy. There are many candy stores in Old Town but this one is a must!

They as noted by the many reviews offer a very wide array of candy and the presentation is somewhat unique.

Great candy selection! Fun store!! An iconic part of Old Sacramento. Samples are delicious and you can find candies here that you can’t find elsewhere. Candy Heaven is a must for our kids whenever we go to Old Sac.

This Candy Shop is the coolest thing! You are allowed to try multiple kinds of Candy thankfully. The guy at the cash register allowed everyone in the store to try some chocolate crickets, and they were surprisingly tasty. The store has a classic hippie vibe
